Join us for a 6-week online book study of Derek Prince’s “Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting” every Tuesday starting July 8, 2025 from 5:00-6:30pm CT.
God instituted Biblical fasting and prayer to invite us to collaborate with Him in positively shaping human history and affairs. Our culture has rapidly surrendered righteousness and discernment to the enemy, sin, and the influence of toxic mass sentiment. The Bible’s remedy for sin, decay, and defeat has always been fasting and prayer. That’s why Jesus Christ the Son of God, as well as other biblical characters fasted. Can we achieve their success without submitting to the same process?
Biblical fasting as a spiritual work requires us to abstain from something (usually food but can be other things too) for the purpose of seeking the Lord’s mind, will, and face. In eliminating distractions, we nourish our souls as we give undivided attention to the Lord through prayer. Fasting coupled with prayer ultimately invites divine intervention to positively shape the destinies of individuals and nations. As things come to a boiling point, we invite you to join us in a 40 day corporate fast starting July 8, as we humble ourselves to petition the Lord, through fasting and prayer for the following things:
A blessing on men as fathers, husbands, sons to be divinely empowered to lead strong families and have a positive spiritual impact in their other spheres of influence.
The safety and welfare of our children and country; with a return to righteousness.
A greater global spiritual awakening and advancement of God's Kingdom with the Gospel bearing fruit.
Triumph of Hope’s work so that multitudes can encounter Jesus in a powerful and transformative way.
