Meet the Speakers

Jeremiah Castille

Jeremiah is a minister, speaker, teacher, and coach. He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide from 1979–1982 and was on the last team coached by Bear Bryant. Growing up in a dysfunctional home filled with abuse, domestic violence and alcoholism, mentors were the direct result of Jeremiah Castille’s successes in life.  Most notably, the legendary Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant instilled discipline and leadership into Jeremiah’s life.  Coach Bryant taught him that with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and integrity; he could do great things.  Coach Bryant’s guidance and Jeremiah’s resolve led Jeremiah to numerous successes including, being selected the MVP in Coach Bryant’s last Liberty Bowl game. Castille was a pallbearer at Bryant's funeral on January 28, 1983.

Jeremiah played professional football with Tampa Bay and Denver.  As a member of the Denver Broncos, he played in Super Bowl XXII between the Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins. Throughout his professional career, Jeremiah’s purpose in life became clearer.  His experiences led him to mentor, coach and encourage at-risk youth.  In 1999, he and his wife Jean founded Jeremiah Castille Foundation, whose mission is based on Isaiah 61:1-4 is to preach good tidings to the poor, heal the broken hearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, open prison doors to those who are bound and glorify the Lord through preaching.

Jahan Berns

Jahan’s Father, a military commander in Uganda was assassinated when she was just six years old. Following his death, Jahan’s family was robbed of everything, and they became destitute. Jahan was raised Muslim until her dramatic conversion to Christianity. Jahan migrated from Uganda to England, and finally to Birmingham, Alabama.

As a Mortgage Banking & Litigation attorney, Jahan practiced law at the law firm of Sirote & Permutt, in Birmingham, AL, until she took a job at the Chief Operating Officer for JH Israel and U.S. Israel Education Association.

Jahan is now in full-time ministry with Triumph of Hope, a non-profit she founded to ignite others with a love and passion for Jesus. She travels and speaks widely preaching the Gospel and sharing her inspirational story in both Christian and secular settings. Her heart is to bring hope, salvation, and deliverance to people that now struggle as hard as she once did.

Ann Allen Salter

Ann Allen Salter is a grateful recipient of God’s saving grace and intentional discipleship from two older Titus 2 incredible women for years. Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, she remembers going to church but having no personal relationship with Jesus until the age of 27.

Ann Allen fell in love with veterinary medicine at the age of 14 and remained in the same practice for 50 years where she became the senior partner until her full retirement in 2021. “But ask the animals and they will teach you” (Job 12:7) became very real to her after a radical encounter with the Holy Spirit at the age of 40. Having no prior knowledge of the Baptism with the Holy Spirit, she was completely shocked by the power of the Spirit as He began to download simple but powerful pet parables that then expanded to just about anything. He gave her a gift to see something in the natural, then see the spiritual analogy. Being a product of intense discipleship herself, her passion is to teach the truth of God’s Word in a simple yet powerful way, so that it can be easily passed forward.

Ann Allen received a download from the Holy Spirit in 2016, which resulted in a discipleship tool that has been used by thousands across the country and several other nations. Just prior to that she heard from the Spirit during a time of fasting, “Haven’t ya’ll been studying the Bible long enough? It is time to do the Bible.” She has been enjoying doing just that through being a Ministry Partner with Triumph of Hope since 2024. Ann Allen believes that the remnant Church’s greatest days are ahead, but that the Body of Christ must be trained/equipped through the Word and the Holy Spirit to only only survive but  thrive in the seasons ahead. Ann Allen is married and has two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, a new grandson, and quite a few pets. She and her husband live in Eclectic, Alabama on Lake Martin.
