St. Lucia Prayer & Ministry Trip

St. Lucia Prayer & Ministry Trip: September 1-8, 2025

We invite you to join Triumph of Hope in St. Lucia! Limited spots available.

Join Triumph of Hope in partnership with Sons of God Ministry, St. Lucia for a week-long Prayer and Ministry Trip in St. Lucia for prayer and pouring into the people of St. Lucia.

Do you know why many Christians really enjoy the book of the Acts of the Apostles? It’s majorly because the early church actually obeyed the Great Commission’s mandate to “GO”. As a result, they experienced astounding results. The book of ACTS is full of Holy Spirit adventures involving travel and godly exploits in some of the most foreign of places. The Christian life is a life of dependence upon Christ and connection to Him and His people. When God saves us, He not only calls us to Himself, but also into a family of believers, some of whom live far from us. So, while we know that God is at work in all places at all times, yet for some reason, we often see God do way more extraordinary things when we join Him in overseas ministry work. Doesn’t it make sense that a life connected to Him should be a life of adventure?

There’s a righteous remnant here in America that’s hungry for a move of God, and so are our brothers and sisters in St. Lucia. As famed theologian and Bible scholar A.W. Tozer pointed out, spiritual hunger/thirst is the only real harbinger of revival. A true spiritual awakening rides on the back of fervent and effectual prayer of the righteous. To that end, Triumph of Hope in partnership with Sons of God Ministry, St. Lucia are hosting a week-long Prayer and Ministry Trip in St. Lucia for the purpose of prayer, as well as pouring into the people of St. Lucia. We are praying for a resurrection of life for many souls and a recapture of that radiant wonder which should accompany faith in Christ, that wonder which has all but fled the Church in our day. Along with that, we look forward to a mutual deepening of faith, serving with joy, fostering unity and compassion, building meaningful relationships, gaining new perspectives, and developing a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment as we advance the righteous agenda of Christ’s Kingdom.

Jahan Berns, Triumph of Hope

Jahan’s Father, a military commander in Uganda was assassinated when she was just six years old. Following his death, Jahan’s family was robbed of everything, and they became destitute. Jahan was raised Muslim until her dramatic conversion to Christianity. Jahan migrated from Uganda to England, and finally to Birmingham, Alabama.

As a Mortgage Banking & Litigation attorney, Jahan practiced law at the law firm of Sirote & Permutt, in Birmingham, AL, until she took a job at the Chief Operating Officer for JH Israel and U.S. Israel Education Association.

Jahan is now in full-time ministry with Triumph of Hope, a non-profit she founded to ignite others with a love and passion for Jesus. She travels and speaks widely preaching the Gospel and sharing her inspirational story in both Christian and secular settings. Her heart is to bring hope, salvation, and deliverance to people that now struggle as hard as she once did.
