Fun, Laughter, and a Bountiful Harvest
Lookout Mountain was majestic and glorious as Miller Cove Farm welcomed over 200 people consisting of singles, couples, and families. It was one of the most beautiful settings to have a retreat. The trees were wonderfully dressed in the richest hues of gold, yellow, red, orange, and green. The sun smiled kindly at us, and the wind ushered in the breath of the Holy Spirit. The first people to receive the presence of God were the little children. With simple faith and unpretentious hearts, they surrendered to Jesus and abandoned themselves to Him in worship. Their boldness ushered in a breakthrough that inspired the adults to receive the Lord ‘s presence without reservation.
The weekend was bathed in the love and power of God. The Word of God was preached with purity, power, and conviction. As a result, many hearts recommitted to the Lord. A fiery passion and love for Jesus was ignited by God’s holy flame, and mighty testimonies of God’s healing, redemption, and deliverance went forth. The very air in the tent was electric with the presence of God. There’s nothing as sweet as seeing souls saved, marriages healed, people set free from bondage, ignited on fire for God, and filled with the Holy Spirit. There were several people that were healed from physical infirmities. Indeed, a fresh and personal touch from God changes everything. We thank God for crowning our time with a bountiful harvest; for even the hard pathways overflowed with abundance. (Psalm 65:11)
