Triumph of Hope Men
A Man of Rest: Entering into the Divine Rhythm of Rest
Rest. Something we desire … when we have time for it. But do you ever intentionally seek it, beyond those times when you are completely exhausted? It is often an afterthought in my life. Interestingly, I think the Creator of the universe understands and treats this topic quite differently.
A Man After God’s Heart: True Masculinity
As men, what are we putting our “Identity” in? In his book, Richard Simmons says, “Men so often define themselves by what they do, who they know, or what they own. And when they do so, they unwittingly set themselves up for great confusion and failure in their personal lives, particularly when an economic storm arises”.
Unceasing Gratitude
Let’s choose to remember what Jesus did for us at the cross and adopt an attitude of unceasing gratitude for all the wonderful things this sacrificial gift made possible for us. We might just find that the more we give thanks, the more God will give us to be thankful for.
Jesus, Our Perfect Friend
God loves you too much to settle for second place in your life, He longs to become for you life itself. The hope that you cling to. He wants to become your greatest desire, your deepest pursuit, and your highest calling. He is calling you back to the basics. He is searching hearts, looking for the needy, so that He can reveal himself more to them.
A Man After God’s Heart: A Man of Prayer
Men, God’s work in you is a process, not an event. It progresses not in three or four moments, but in ten thousand little moments of change. Partner with God in bringing His Kingdom to earth with your life of prayer.
A Man After God’s Heart: Embracing the Hospitality of God’s Heart
If, as the apostle John supposed, the world itself could not contain the books necessary to tell of all that Jesus did, could the universe hold the volumes needed to describe God‘s heart?
