Surrendered to the Spirit: Young Adults Conference
On February 21, we held our first-ever Young Adults Conference, Surrendered to the Spirit. The conference was an incredibly moving time in the presence of the Lord.
In 2025, the Lord began to stir our hearts to create a space where he could meet with our community in an unhindered way. Our team prayed for a place where young hearts could be ignited with a holy fire for God before the world was thrown into their hands. As we continued in prayer, our hearts were filled with a holy anticipation of what he would do.
However, the way in which God moved at the conference was something that no amount of planning could have prepared us for. God had his way. Around 100 young adults came hungry for a touch from God, and God responded. We had tremendous times of worship where people burst into spontaneous shouts of praise, and many eagerly soaked up the day's teachings. We had powerful times of ministry where people received prayer, and the Lord himself ministered directly to us. God moved in such a way that many were left speechless and in tears. Friendships were formed, and most importantly, the bond between God and man was strengthened.
We left this event knowing that God received what he desires most, the hearts of men and women. We were honored to play a part in all that God wants to do in the younger generation, and we are expectant for what he has in store going forward.
Prayer Retreat at Pursell Farms: The Power of Agreement in Corporate Prayer
Have you ever been to Pursell Farms? It is breathtakingly beautiful. But more than that, it’s saturated with the peace and presence of God. When we were praying and planning for a prayer event at Pursell Farms, we had no idea that the Holy Spirit had chosen the prayer retreat to fall on the date that America and Israel would be launching a preemptive attack against Iran! Over 200 people from various states in the southeast ended up registering for a day of prayer to cover everything affecting the welfare of individuals, families, our nation, and the impact of the Gospel globally. Many of the participants had never prayed for an entire day. In fact, we got some interesting questions like, “I get bored or tired after an hour of praying. How am I going to be able to pray all day, nonstop?” We chuckled.
On Saturday 2/28, we gathered to pray at Pursell farms. It was one of the best corporate prayer times ever! We prayed from 9am to 4pm with a lunch break of about 45 minutes. The Holy Spirit descended at the very beginning as we repented and then worshipped. Prayer themes covered a wide range of topics, with a special focus on the safety and welfare of our nation, as well as praying for Israel, Iran, and the rest of the Middle East. Hours seemed like mere minutes as we co-labored in prayer. Men and women stood shoulder to shoulder in unity, praying with deep fervency and passion. The Holy Spirit injected His fire into every prayer. The atmosphere was electric and pulsated with the love of Jesus. The simplest of prayers accompanied with scriptural declarations made our hearts burn. The glory of God increased with each passing hour; with the Lord touching hearts and moving many to tears. The praise and worship was simply heavenly. People worshipped with such fervor and passion that you felt like the roof was going to blow off.
At the end of the retreat, we were saturated with joy. We experienced a firm conviction in our spirits that our prayers had indeed touched the heart of God and moved Him to act on our behalf. Spiritual breakthrough and personal revivals were set in motion. The anointing that God released at Pursell farms on 2/28, is going to continue to reverberate throughout 2026, and beyond. Because God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6), we are going to continue praying and seeking His face. We encourage you to do the same. To God be the glory!
