Impact Report May 2024
Does God perform miracles today? Does He directly intervene in the lives of people today to save, heal, and deliver? Of course!
The Bible says in Hebrews 13:8 that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The month of May was a month of great miracles of salvation, healing, and deliverance. Check out what God did! ⬇️
Awaken Retreat: May 4-5, 2024
God has a million ways through which to draw people to Him. His preferred method? Wooing hearts. There’s nothing more exhilarating to God than to see His son Jesus captivating people’s hearts! That is exactly what the Lord did at our first ministry retreat called AWAKEN on May 4-5, 2024. Thirty (30) incredible young women gathered in a beautiful house at Lake Martin. Their common denominator? They were desperately hungry for greater intimacy with Jesus, and a deeper walk with God. God did not disappoint them. The immersion in God’s Word coupled with meaningful prayer brought forth a true inward experience of Jesus Christ. Jesus drew each one to Himself with tender compassion. Hearts were set free, bondages broken, fears disappeared, and shame melted like wax in the fierce fire of God’s love. The retreat ended on a joyous note with many being baptized; and sharing testimonies of how the Lord had met them deeply. Here are some beautiful testimonies regarding the retreat. To God be the glory!
Victory Over Darkness Luncheon: May 23, 2024
The beauty of Jesus is that there’s no pit so deep that His love isn’t deeper still; no sin so dirty that His Blood cannot wash; and no story too tragic that He can’t redeem as long as we invite Him in. This was the gist of Paula Phillips Wiggins’ testimony at Triumph’s Victory over Darkness Luncheon, which drew men and women from very various parts of the state. Abandoned at birth, Paula was eventually adopted by a traditional southern family. The little joy that she knew as a child was robbed when her adoptive daddy died tragically. As Paula delved into her gut wrenching testimony of loss, sin, tragic mistakes and the indescribable redeeming love of a faithful Savior, there was hardly a dry eye in the room. The prayer and intercession session at the end, along with the personal ministry brought release and inner healing to so many.
For every Christian-for all of us in fact- an emotionally whole/spiritually healed heart is all important if we are to thrive and fulfill the destiny for which God created us. If God can gain full mastery of our hearts, no matter how challenging life gets, everything is bound to eventually work out for good. Paula’s testimony was a great reminder of that; and of the Lord’s relentless love and pursuit of our hearts above all else.
A Life of Prayer - A Life of Fulfillment and Fruitfulness: May 1-31, 2024
Our work/ministry is fueled by prayer. Christ was the greatest prayer warrior because He was the holiest of men. His character is a praying character. We seek to model our lives after His. In addition to holding forty-five (45) counseling, deliverance, and prayer appointments in the month of May, on 5/18/24 we held our monthly Women Activating Power prayer meeting where women of all ages gathered for four (4) hours to engage in worship, repentance, and intercession for individuals, families, and our nation with a special teaching emphasis on the seven spirits of the Lord as mentioned in Revelation 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6; and Isaiah 11:2-3. Check out this powerful prayer video from the prayer meeting.
E.M. Bounds, one of the greatest intercessors of his day wrote, “Christ’s Spirit was the life and power of prayer. The best prayer warrior is not the one who has the greatest fluency, the most brilliant imagination, the richest gift, or the most fiery passion, but the one inspired by the Spirit of Christ, and the one whose character is the nearest to that of Christ. Prevailing prayer lifts the Christian and shows him his inheritance and transfigures him into the likeness of His Lord. If you would reach to something higher than an ordinary groveling experience, look to the Rock that is higher than you, and gaze with the eye of faith through the window of consistent prayer. When you open the window on your wide, it will not be bolted on the other.”
