Impact Report September 2025
Jesus calls us to fulfill the Great Commission both near and far.
Overseas Mission trips, even to exotic-sounding places, often involve a degree of inconvenience and disruption to our coveted daily routines. Missions demand our time, love, sacrifice, flexibility, and perseverance—but the reward of seeing God transform lives is worth it all. God is moving powerfully across the nations. We are humbled and at the same time excited to share what He did with and through our team in St. Lucia. Please take time to read about the beautiful and powerful things that the Lord did.
Partnering With the Local Church
We were invited by Pastors John and Elistra Peters of Sons of God Ministry, two highly influential and respected leaders in their nation. We were moved by their hospitality, generosity, and deep love for God and others. It was a wonderful privilege to serve alongside them.
Ministry Highlights
Hospital Ministry: Few things are as sobering as encountering acute human suffering. Some of the sick patients in St. Lucia’s main hospital, were simply desperate for human touch…just someone to hold their hand for a few minutes. Others were in such deep pain that they couldn’t talk. Some were distant with God or angry at Him, while others were crying out for provision and divine intervention in addition to medical help. None rejected prayer. Our team respectfully listened, and then prayed with compassion and faith. We prayed with patients and families in several wards, bringing encouragement and the loving-healing presence of Jesus.
Orphanage Outreach: At one point or another, most of us have encountered feelings of rejection, abandonment, or feeling like an outcast. Living in an orphanage amplifies those feelings to the max for many kids. It was important for our team to prepare well for our visit to St. Lucia’s local Catholic orphanage. Weeks in advance, we obtained the names, ages, and needs for all the children at the orphanage. We arrived loaded with toys, diapers, baby wipes, clothing, and books. The squeals of delight, and the smiles and tears (ours and theirs) made every ounce of preparation worthwhile. Forget Barbie, leap pads, and the candy, did you know that the kids were most impressed with the walkie-talkies? One baby loved the harmonica so much that he filled it with a pool of drool as he showed off his musical genius. Too cute!
National Intercession for St. Lucia: Isaiah 60:9 has the LORD declaring that, “The Islands and the coastlands will wait confidently for me!” Isaiah 42:4 says, “The Lord will establish justice on earth. In His teaching the islands will put their hope.” Upon the basis of God’s word, we gathered with Sons of God Ministry and the local church and for over three hours. We travailed in prayer, petitioning God to grant repentance and salvation to the people of St. Lucia; and that Jesus Christ’s teachings would be the foundation and backbone of St. Lucia’s society. You never saw people that prayed with such fervency, passion, and unity! Prayer marks us with the glory and visitation of God. We experienced that.
Street Evangelism: Street evangelism can be intimidating for both the newbies and the seasoned evangelists. After all, who wants to walk up to a total stranger and risk rejection, coldness, or insult? We prayed for God’s help and favor prior to engagement. We were a little sheepish at first but the more we talked and prayed with people and realized how surprisingly open and receptive they were, the bolder we grew. Soon we were having so much fun praying for all kinds of people including the police! One St. Lucian described our praying with him as a much needed divine encounter that he had been desperately begging God for months. Once more, God reminded us that He is willing to use anyone- He is simply waiting for our yes.
Revival Services: We continue to learn that when we pray and present God’s Word in truth, love, and humility, the Gospel bears fruit. The Holy Spirit lovingly reveals Christ, convicts hearts, leads people to repent, and then He turns around and heals and delivers them. It’s difficult to articulate the power, raw emotion, and transformation that we witnessed during the revival services as people engaged with the Lord, and healing and deliverance took place. This trip will continue to be the gift that keeps giving for years to come. We give God all the glory.
Opportunities Ahead
We have an open door to return to St. Lucia in 2026 for a revival conference that will include national leaders. We invite you to pray into that and hope you will prayerfully consider being a part of our 2026 ministry/mission team to St. Lucia! (By the way, the food is great…but nothing beats the fruit!)
Takeaways and Calls to Action
We believe that God is going to bring a great awakening here in America, St. Lucia and for the rest of the world. Even in the midst of great darkness and despair, we are witnessing a season of great expansion and advancement of the Kingdom of God through the powerful presentation of the Gospel. The Gospel will continue to powerfully bear fruit whenever and wherever it’s presented in love, humility, and purity. We encourage you to continue taking up your cross daily, surrendering and following Jesus wherever He leads you. The best is yet to come!
Special thanks to our team, our board, and you (our partners) that make our work and outreach possible. Together, we will continue to encounter Jesus and transform lives!
