A Prayer to Pray on Easter Sunday

My Lord, as we approach this Resurrection Day, I pray that we, the Body of Christ, both collectively and individually, will experience it in a deeper way! Please help us, Lord, to press into You this Resurrection Sunday, blessing You with our worship, with our devoted focus, with our intentional attention.

I pray that You will take us to a deeper level of awe of You, Jesus and what You did for us; not just by Your sacrificial life of 33 years ending in a horrible death, but by the power of Your mighty resurrection that impacts our lives every day--that we will remember Your victory over death and we will choose to live life to its fullest because of Your unconditional love for us!

Thank You, Jesus most of all for loving us unconditionally from everlasting to everlasting! Your Name be lifted up and You be glorified, not just Sunday, but every day that we have breath in our lungs! He Is Risen!
